Philanthropy and Outreach
Reading to Kids:As a Christian sisterhood, we are dedicated to performing active Christian service. One of the ways we do so is by participating in events like Reading to Kids. Pictured are sisters Sarah, Caty, and alum sister Dominique, who read stories, facilitated crafts, and handed out free books to kids at the event.

Breakfast on Bruinwalk:Last quarter, ADX set out to relieve some midterm stress and bring smiles to sleepy faces through an outreach event called Breakfast on Bruinwalk. We handed out free breakfast items, offered prayer, and evangelized to our fellow Bruins! Thank you to our Outreach Chair Camila Tipan for coordinating this event!

Flocking:
Every year, in Winter Quarter, sororities and fraternities gear up for our annual philanthropy: flocking! In exchange for a donation to a charity voted upon by ADX, sororities and fraternities can "flock" other sororities and fraternities with pink plastic flamingos.
This year, we voted to donate to Union Rescue Mission, an organization that strives to embrace people with the compassion of Christ, give hope and healing for a changed life in order to help them find their way home. Thank you to all of the Greek organizations that participated in our philanthropy! |
